About The Event
Set in a small Cabin Home, From The Beginning centers around exploring “The 7 C’s of History”: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. The audience will first experience the first days on earth as it depicts the first 2 C’s of History: Life in a perfect world and the First Sin. Jumping back into the Familiar chaotic Southern family, Their story begins with Ruth and Frank, the beloved heads of a lively and slightly chaotic family who’ve gathered back at the old homeplace for a weekend together. Between Ruth’s endless hospitality and Uncle Pete’s dry one-liners, there’s never a dull moment under their roof.
As the kids and grandkids roll in, the house quickly fills with singing, laughter, teasing, and the occasional “friendly disagreement.” Old stories resurface and new memories are always made when jack and Uncle Pete get together—especially Conversation pertaining to the outhouse out back.
